+DETAIL
Our vision board and mediation will entail some calming mindset meditation, relaxation and lots of cutting and sticking of images and words that talk to you.
- Focus on one or all six key topics:
- Personal development,
- Love and romance,
- Family & friends,
- Career,
- House & home
- Hobbies & leisure
Feel free to bring photos, printouts, magazines, special quotes, holiday, travel images and cuttings to add to your personalised vision board too. Having a photo that includes you and your loved one, is always a good starting point. Also - bring an open mind.
Follow up Summer 2023: Included in this workshop is an informal catch up in the summer to reconnect and chat about the process and what we have manifested for ourselves since creating the boards. It will be a good opportunity to revisit your intentions.
+ A note from Jaina
Meditation and relaxation is the perfect way to clear the mind from busy thoughts and noise. Centering and grounding ourselves before we start ordering our "Pizza." One of the best quotes I recall about vision boarding is to order the exact pizza, the size, the topping, how much I want and when I want it. It was the perfect recipe to upgrade my thoughts and put good intentions into practice.
+ A note from Hannah
One of my favourite ways of describing this process is as follows: You wouldn’t get into your car and just drive. First you would decide where you are going, then you might plan the route, and finally do any other necessary things like fill up with petrol, pack a water bottle, etc and then you would set off.
The same process applies to our goals and ambitions. If we don’t know where we are heading, or what we want to achieve, how are we ever going to achieve them?
Vision boarding is a super fun way of ‘dreaming big’ creating visually your dream life, how you want to feel, the things you want to own, places you want to visit, your achievements and the people you want to surround you.
I have two boards, one which is mainly emotive words (cut out of magazines / printed off the internet), things like ‘freedom’ ‘abundance’ etc. and the other which I do each year with Nelson and is full of photos covering the following topics; Personal development, Love and romance, Family & friends, Career, House & home, Hobbies & leisure
The key is to dream big - and connect with the images. Make them wildly ambitious - but believe you can achieve them. Once your board is complete pop it somewhere you will see it each day and connect to it. Imagine living in that house, taking that holiday … how will you feel …. Focusing on the way you feel is key to the process…
Hope that all makes sense. Feel free to DM if you have any questions about the workshop. I’ve been making vision boards for years and I’m a huge advocate for them and seeing them come to fruition. I look forward to welcoming you to the workshop and creating our boards for 2023 together.
