Our signature Yoga for Every ‘Body’ class is suitable for beginners who are just starting out on their Yoga journey.

Location: JAI YOGA STUDIO, FOURTH FLOOR, METROPOLITAN HOUSE, STATION ROAD, CHEADLE HULME, SK8 7AZ.

BEGINNERS + PROGRESSIVE YOGA

This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice. You'll be guided through foundational poses and breathing techniques, learning their names, benefits, and proper alignment to build a strong base for your practice.

Whether you're just starting out or refining your skills, you'll gain a deeper understanding of yoga and build confidence. 

No prior experience is needed—everyone is welcome!

 

Mindful Yoga Movement

A gentle, supportive class designed especially for those looking to ease stiffness, get moving, boost energy, feel more at home in their body. This class uses accessible movement, breathing, and calming practices to support joint health, reduce inflammation, and improve overall mobility, all at a pace that meets you where you are.

If you are looking for a class that puts your physical and mental well-being first, Mindful Movement offers a warm, welcoming space to move, breathe, and feel better.

No experience needed, just come as you are.

Benefits: Easy-to-follow movements for joint health and flexibility. Relieve tension and promote relaxation.

 

Restorative YOGA, CANDLELIT Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra

Restorative + Yin Yoga, are simple, but simple does not mean easy. The asanas (poses) are held several minutes at a time. The steadier practice allows for safe and positive 'stress' on the body, but also allows for a more meditative practice to allow the body and mind connect differently to a yang style practice. Enjoy & feel a deeper connection with a focused approach.

Guided Relaxation Class

A guided relaxation (Yoga nidra) promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.

Benefits: Reduce stress & anxiety through regular practice. Improve joints and mobility, great for athlete and anyone use to high-intensity activities.

 

Slow Flow + Flow Yoga

Yoga for Every ‘Body’ flow classes, are invigorating yet relaxed, friendly and welcoming. Wake up your body and mind through traditional Hatha Yoga asana (poses), sun salutation and slow flow sequences. As well as some wonderful calming benefits of Pranayama (breath work) to help with anxiety. Feel calm, refreshed and ready for the day or evening ahead.

The classes are similar Slow Flow Yoga is Yin-Yang-Yin, slower and more held poses.

SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS

Benefits: Tone and strengthen the body, challenge and calm the mind, improve posture, balance and flexibility, improve lung health (pranayama) & maintain a healthier life style.

 

MINDFUL ASHTANGA YOGA

This class offers a dynamic yet accessible approach to the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa system. Designed for all levels, it combines movement, breath, and mindfulness to build strength, sharpen focus, and deepen self-awareness.

Expect guided sun salutations, a thoughtful sequence of postures, and breath work (Ujjayi), all practiced with presence and care. Modifications are always provided, creating an inclusive environment where you can move at your own pace.

Whether you're just beginning or looking to deepen your journey, this class invites you to feel grounded, energised, and connected—from the inside out.

MULTI LEVEL

 

DYNAMIC FLOW + ROCKET YOGA

Rocket Yoga Fundamental classes, are dynamic, energising and fun. Larry Schultz, student of Prattabi Jois, founder of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga designed a sequence called ROCKET YOGA. Similar to Ashtanga yoga, Rocket yoga sequences are designed to be creative, playful and allows you to explore a dynamic, challenging yet fun practice with the opportunity to practise inversions and arm balances.⁠ This fast-paced class will improve your stamina and range of movement.

Expect to challenge yourself both physically and mentally during this practice.

WOMEN’S ONLY YOGA

This class involves connecting to your breath, meditation, and practising asanas (yoga poses) of longer holds. Whilst an energising practice, it is paced steadily, setting you up for the day perfectly to feel grounded and connected to your mind, body and spirit. This is a Feminine-centred practice, you will practice Shakti Flow, Lunar Yoga Flow and a bi-monthly women’s circles embodying the divine feminine energy. Express and embrace your creative energy, dance, play, create, reflect, love and practice self care..

THIS CLASS IS FOR ALL WOMEN. NOT SUITABLE FOR PREGNANCY OR EARLY POSTPARTUM.

No experience necessary and all levels and abilities welcome. 

Common ailments: Struggling to focus, get clarity, balance your emotions and broken sleep due to hormones and stress.

 

YOGA FOR PREGNANCY (ANTENATAL)

A super nurturing and revitalising class for women during their pregnancy. Pregnancy can sometimes be challenging both mentally and physically. We aim to keep you happy, healthy, bond with your baby and feel strong from the inside out. These classes are a great place to feel supported and connected with other mums-to-be. Our ladies always say they feels less pain and have a fantastic night’s sleep after this class. 

We specialise in antenatal education to help you understand your pregnancy and prepare you for birth. ANTENATAL COURSES WITH YOUR BIRTH PARTNER are complementary to other hospital courses as we focus on a holistic options like active labour and hypnobirthing style techniques for all birth options. Work on theories and practical ways to make birth calmer for you and your baby. 

SUITABLE FROM AROUND 14 / 15 WEEKS UNTIL 40 / 42 WEEKS

Common ailments: Back ache, sleep disturbance, pelvic girdle pain (PGP) & anxiety.

 

mUM TRIBE - POSTNATAL YOGA + RESTORE YOUR CORE

THIS CLASS INCLUDES YOUR BABIES OR YOU CAN JOIN HANDS FREE

We love yoga but we really love this class. We are blessed to work with you and the cutest, youngest yogi’s & yogini’s out there! The best beginnings! Your journey does not end with our Pregnancy yoga classes, these classes will help heal and support your post-pregnancy recovering body. Continue your weekly practice in a relaxed, welcoming and no pressure environment, whilst you slowly build your strength as your babies grow. When you practice yoga, your babies practice to. We include some baby massage techniques, singing, yoga with your baby and promoting bonding with your baby – A fully inclusive class.

START FROM 6 WEEKS POSTPARTUM / 8 WEEKS CAESAREAN BIRTH (OR WHEN YOU FEEL READY) UNTIL YOUR BABY / BABIES ARE CRAWLING.

Common ailments: Diastasis Recti (separated tummy muscles), pelvic floor function, achy body and joints, fatigue, emotional balance & anxiety.

 

BABY MASSAGE + YOGA

This class is for Mummies, Daddies and Babies. There are no set guidelines regarding the minimum age for when to start baby massage. Although nurturing touch can be given from birth, some babies may find formal, structured massage too stimulating in the very early weeks.

Benefits your baby: Relieves symptoms of colic. Help with digestive discomfort. Help babies to relax and sleep longer. Helps to promote the growth and development of premature and low birth-weight infants. Improved mental and physical health in infants

FAMILY YOGA

Family Yoga aims to bring little ones and their adults together to experience breathwork, poses and a little bit of yoga philosophy as a family unit. In each of these special workshops we’ll explore a seasonal theme, learn something new and (most importantly) have fun!

SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AGE 5 - 10 YEARS OLD AND THEIR ADULTS

Benefits: Family to build confidence in little ones and to provide them with a creative outlet to share their authentic selves with the world. As an adult participating in the class, you can help your little ones build motor skills, balance and focus whilst spending a bit of quality time together.
